Publicity, Liability and Cancellation Policy
By checking the box below, you (or your parent/guardian in the case of a minor), agree that: Skate Ontario may record, broadcast, capture or otherwise publish images and/or video and/or information arising from your participation in this CanSkate Course. This may be in whole or in part and may potentially be viewed worldwide. You hereby consent to the use of your name, biography, likeness on or in conjunction with any television, radio, print, motion picture, etc, in any traditional or non-traditional format, diffused by any means, for the purposes of advertising, publicity, promotion or editorial content. You waive all right to remuneration or otherwise in connection with the above.
By checking the box below, it is understood and agree that Skate Ontario will not be liable for injury or loss occasioned by the participant while traveling to or from or during the CanSkate Course nor shall Skate Ontario be responsible for any damages or losses cause by the participant during the same time. The participant and/or the participant's parent/guardian agrees to indemnify Skate Ontario and hold it harmless from any claims or demands in respect of such loss or damage.
A late fee of $50 will apply to all applications submitted after the deadline date (including partially complete applications with outstanding documents or payment not submitted by the deadline). Cancellations occurring after the application deadline date will not receive a refund. Cancellations prior to the application deadline date will receive a full refund less a $25 Administration Fee. Skate Ontario reserves the right to cancel any courses after the deadline date due to lack of participants. If we choose to cancel a course, a full refund will be given.
